Composition
1 tab.
potassium aspartate 175 mg
Magnesium aspartate 175 mg
Excipients: potato starch, talc, calcium stearate.
Pharmachologic effect
Asparkam a source of potassium and magnesium ions, regulates metabolic processes. The mechanism of action is presumably due to the role of both the carrier asparaginata magnesium and potassium ions into the intracellular space and asparaginate involvement in metabolic processes. Thus, asparkam eliminates the imbalance of electrolytes, reduces the excitability of the myocardium and conduction (moderate antiarrhythmic effect).
Side effects
There may be nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, discomfort or a burning sensation in the epigastric region (patients anatsidnyh gastritis or cholecystitis), ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, flatulence, dry mouth; bradycardia, pruritus, dizziness; myasthenia gravis, fatigue, increased sweating; atrioventricular block, a paradoxical response (increase in the number of premature beats), hyperkalemia (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, paresthesias), gipermagniemiya (redness of the face, thirst, lower blood pressure, hyporeflexia, respiratory depression, convulsions).
Sale Properties
No prescription
Testimony
Asparkam used in the treatment of heart failure, ischemic heart disease, hypokalemia, cardiac arrhythmias (including myocardial infarction, an overdose of cardiac glycosides) as a supplementary source of potassium and magnesium.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Asparkamu, breach of amino acid metabolism, arterial hypotension, acute and chronic renal failure, hyperkalemia, gipermagniemiya, violation of atrioventricular conduction (AV I - III degree), myasthenia gravis, acute metabolic acidosis, dehydration (exsicosis), hemolysis, Addison's disease, oliguria, anuria.
Precautions: pregnancy (especially 1 trimester), lactation, hypophosphatemia, kidney stone diathesis (associated with impaired metabolism of calcium, magnesium and ammonium phosphate).
