Hilak forte regulates the balance of intestinal microflora and normalizes its composition. Due to the content of normal microflora metabolic products in Hilak forte, the drug helps to restore normal intestinal microflora in a biological way and allows you to preserve the physiological and biological functions of the intestinal mucosa.

The biosynthetic lactic acid included in Hilak forte and its buffer salts restore the normal value of acidity in the gastrointestinal tract, regardless of whether the patient suffers from high or low acidity. Against the background of accelerating the development of normal intestinal symbionts under the influence of Hilak forte, the natural synthesis of B and K vitamins is normalized. The short-chain volatile fatty acids contained in Hilak fort provide restoration of damaged intestinal microflora in infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, stimulate the regeneration of epithelial cells of the intestinal wall, and restore the disturbed water-electrolyte balance in the lumen of the intestine.

There is evidence that Hilak forte enhances the protective functions of the body by stimulating the immune response.

Indications

Pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug Hilak forte during pregnancy and lactation is considered safe. However, the decision to prescribe the drug is made by the attending physician.

The simultaneous use of this drug with milk and dairy products is not recommended.

Dosage and administration

Hilak forte is taken orally before or during meals, diluted with a small amount of liquid (excluding milk).

The drug is prescribed 3 times a day:

adults: 40-60 drops per reception;

children: 20-40 drops per reception;

infants: 15-30 drops per reception.

After improvement, the daily dose can be reduced by half.

Side effects

Hilak forte is well tolerated by patients of any age. 

Side effects to date have not been observed. 

Allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, urticaria) are possible; constipation, diarrhea.

Drug interaction

Under the influence of antacids, neutralization of lactic acid, which is part of the Hilak forte preparation, is possible.
