Pharmacological action
An agent for treating acne. Retasol helps to normalize the terminal differentiation of cells, inhibits the hyperproliferation of the epithelium of the excretory ducts of the sebaceous glands, the formation of detritus and facilitates its evacuation. Due to this, the production of sebum is reduced, its release is facilitated, the composition is normalized, and the inflammatory reaction around the glands is reduced. For external and systemic use, it has antiseborrheic, sebostatic, anti-inflammatory, kerato-and immunomodulatory effects enhances the regeneration processes in the skin.
Indications
Papulopustular acne, seborrhea, rosacea, perioral dermatitis.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, established and planned, lactation, hypersensitivity to isotretinoin, simultaneous use of tetracycline antibiotics.
Special instructions
It is not recommended to apply the solution to the skin around the eyes, as well as for severe acute inflammation. Do not apply to mucous membranes.
Composition
1 vial contains isotretinoin (13-cis-retinoic acid) 0.025%, propylene glycol 60%, ethyl alcohol 95% to 100%
Dosage and administration
Retasol is applied externally. With acne rosacea is applied with a cotton swab to previously cleansed skin 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is 4-12 weeks. A second course of treatment is possible after consultation with a doctor.
Side effects
Dermatological reactions: dry mucous membranes, skin rash, dermatitis, pruritus, cheilitis, erythema (especially on the face), sweating, palmar plantar peeling, paronychia, nail dystrophy, increased growth of granulation tissue in the diseased area rarely thinning hair, vasculitis, photosensitivity.
Storage conditions
In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 22 РC.
